Equipment

Founded by chromatographers experienced in preparative separations, PIC-Solution offers systems for analytical SFC, preparative SFC and preparative HPLC as well as the innovative SFC-PICLab Hybrid™ system which combines an analytical SFC and a preparative SFC system in a single unit.

SFC is frequently described as a Green Chemistry process, greatly reducing the quantity of organic solvents used in HPLC separations. The SFC-PICLab PREP™ systems are doubly green, minimizing even the CO₂ use by recycling the mobile phase.

Columns

In addition to equipment, PIC Solution provides preparative SFC, HPLC and Simulated Moving Bed (SMB) chromatography columns as well as semi-preparative SFC column hardware. The preparative columns use dynamic axial compression technology and can be used in this mode with the FlexPacker™ unit or can be used as stand-alone columns by virtue of the innovative piston locking system developed by PIC-Solution.
